About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide primary oversight and administrative management of level I fieldwork in mental health settings
- Conduct outreach and maintain timely communication with external constituents and clinical sites
- Travel to and from clinical, community, and doctoral experiential fieldwork sites
- Support the didactic and clinical development of the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program in compliance with ACOTE standards
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair or the Dean of the College
Requirements
- Earned doctoral degree from a USDE regionally accredited institution
- Current Wisconsin occupational therapist licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in good standing
- Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience as an Occupational Therapist
Preferred Qualifications
- Documented previous experience working in mental health settings
- Documented experience teaching within an occupational therapy education program
- Evidence of engagement in community-based practice
