Adjunct Faculty - Nursing Theory and/or Skills Lab

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based instruction in theory, laboratory, or simulation settings based on course objectives.
• Facilitate student learning using student-centered teaching strategies that reflect current nursing practice.
• Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and other evaluation tools, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress in accordance with program and college policies.
• Collaborate with full-time faculty and department leadership to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and clinical expectations.
• Foster a professional and respectful learning environment that supports diverse learners and promotes equity and inclusion.
• Adhere to all regulatory, accreditation, and institutional standards, including those set by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing and CCNE.

Requirements

• Current and active RN license in New Hampshire.
• Master's degree in nursing.
• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience in the specific area of educational responsibility (e.g., adult, pediatric, gynecologic/obstetric, or mental health).
• Experience educating nurses in practice and/or undergraduate pre-licensure academic settings.
