Adjunct Faculty - Nursing

Responsibilities

• Teach in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs across various specialties including medical-surgical, family nurse practitioner, community health, maternal-child, and mental health nursing
• Function in laboratory, clinical, and classroom settings
• Prepare and grade course materials as necessary
• Provide support and guidance to students
• Report grades and uphold the policies of the Department of Nursing and The University of Scranton

Requirements

• BSN with an active plan to complete an MSN within 5 years
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
• Ability to participate in the onboarding and clinical clearance process as required
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MSN) or doctoral degree in nursing
• Experience in direct care of patients and clients
• Prior clinical teaching experience
