Adjunct Faculty, Nurse Anesthesia

Responsibilities

• Teach students in the post-BSN to DNP program through didactic and clinical curriculum participation
• Comply with course syllabi and follow directives from the Department Chair
• Create exams, grade assignments, and provide students with feedback on performance
• Contribute to the revision of syllabi in consultation with faculty and the Undergraduate program Chair
• Provide remedial instruction for students as needed
• Participate in faculty orientation programs, immersion days, and departmental meetings
• Communicate course and program information to students and faculty via University channels

Requirements

• Five or more years of clinical experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from a regionally and nationally accredited institution
• Current unencumbered RN and/or APRN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current NBCRNA CRNA licensure
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, curriculum development, and evaluation
• Knowledge of current CRNA practice and programmatic accreditation requirements
• Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field
• Previous teaching experience in a higher education environment
