About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach lecture and laboratory sections for upper-division courses in the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program
- Develop curricula and maintain department standards
- Communicate effectively with students possessing a wide range of skills and backgrounds
- Support students in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment
- Perform other academic duties as assigned by the Deans
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, or Systems Analysis
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Documented experience with applied teaching and learning methodologies
- Ability to teach online courses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends
