About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach specified courses in Kinesiology, Nutrition, or Public Health on an as-needed basis
- Prepare comprehensive course materials and instructional content
- Provide academic support and guidance to students
- Manage student assessments and report grades accurately
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Public Health, Nutrition and Dietetics, or a closely related discipline
- For nutrition roles: Current registration and maintained status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- For nutrition roles: Active membership in good standing with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Relevant professional certifications as applicable to the specific course being taught
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD or ABD in Kinesiology, Public Health, or Nutrition/Dietetics
- Previous higher education teaching experience
- Flexibility regarding class scheduling
