About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach COM 213 Typography for the Fall 2026 semester
  • Introduce students to the basics of typographic techniques and design aesthetics
  • Provide an overview of the fundamental principles of type design as applied to graphics, advertising, the arts, and visual communication
  • Instruct students on how typography functions as a communicative device and a compositional element
  • Deliver course content in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:50-4:20 p.m.

Requirements

  • M.A. or higher in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Experience teaching Graphic Design at the college level
  • Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks
