About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate-level nursing courses including Nursing Administration, Applied Research Techniques, and Professional Ethics.
- Supervise Nursing Administration practicums within healthcare settings.
- Deliver instruction in both traditional face-to-face and online learning environments.
- Develop and update curriculum for assigned courses.
- Evaluate student performance based on established syllabus criteria.
- Provide academic advising and maintain regular office hours for students.
- Assist with departmental assessments, meetings, and university promotion.
- Conduct research in a specific field of knowledge and publish findings in professional journals.
- Promote Christian values through teaching methods and student interactions.
Requirements
- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
- Current CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching in a face-to-face or online higher education setting.
