About the role
Responsibilities
- Record and post short video introductions to each module describing learning goals
- Respond to student input on Canvas in a thoughtful and timely manner
- Assess student performances to cultivate knowledge, skills, and dispositions
- Maintain availability for virtual office hours with students
- Calculate ongoing course grades and enter final grades into Banner
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in the teaching area
- Graduate-student level proficiency (C2/Superior) in English
- Experience teaching languages other than English to English-speaking learners
- Proficiency in Canvas and Banner
- Proficiency in tools for producing and socially annotating video and audio files
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching online courses
