Adjunct Faculty - Finance

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate finance courses in person at the C.H. Lute School of Business
• Deliver instruction for courses such as Personal Finance, Principles of Insurance, Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Institutions, Management Finance, or Investments
• Utilize collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction
• Communicate effectively with a diverse student body with varying skill levels
• Maintain a flexible teaching schedule, including evening availability

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance or a related area (a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of relevant field experience will be considered)
• Current industry licensure, as appropriate for the specific course being taught
• Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in a related discipline at the college level
• Direct professional experience within the finance, banking, or insurance industries
