Adjunct Faculty, Environmental Science

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory environmental science lecture and laboratory courses for the Fall 2025 semester.
• Prepare course materials consistent with departmental and course learning objectives.
• Prepare and lead laboratory experiments, including field trips and data collection.
• Provide timely grading, feedback, and academic guidance to undergraduate students.
• Cover topics such as climate change, water quality, soil, air pollution, and biodiversity.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Public Health).
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
• Ability to conduct in-person instruction and manage laboratory environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching at the college level.
• Willingness to be flexible regarding class scheduling.
