About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory environmental science lecture and laboratory courses for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Prepare course materials consistent with departmental and course learning objectives.
- Prepare and lead laboratory experiments, including field trips and data collection.
- Provide timely grading, feedback, and academic guidance to undergraduate students.
- Cover topics such as climate change, water quality, soil, air pollution, and biodiversity.
Requirements
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Public Health).
- Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
- Ability to conduct in-person instruction and manage laboratory environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching at the college level.
- Willingness to be flexible regarding class scheduling.
