Adjunct Faculty, English

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned composition courses, such as College Writing I (Persuasion) and College Writing II (Research), on an as-needed basis.
• Prepare course materials that are consistent with departmental learning objectives.
• Provide timely grading and constructive feedback to students.
• Offer guidance and academic support to foster student success and critical thinking.
• Deliver all course sections in person.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in English or a closely related field.
• Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to be flexible regarding class scheduling.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
