About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as part-time Adjunct Faculty in the Department of English & Humanities for traditional classes
- Instruct courses in areas such as Composition, British Literature, Public Speaking and Human Communication, and Ethics in Public/Private Life
- Utilize student-centered instruction methods and collaborative learning techniques
- Employ technology effectively within the teaching environment
- Support a diverse student body in a multiethnic and multicultural environment
Requirements
- Master's degree in English, Humanities, or a closely related field
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students of varying skill levels
- Proficiency in using instructional technology
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, which may include evening assignments
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
