Adjunct Faculty: Economics

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction in economics courses, specifically Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, for the Early College Academy
• Evaluate student coursework, provide constructive feedback, and report grades in a timely manner
• Design educational methodologies and adopt learning-centered teaching practices to enhance student learning
• Revise course content to maintain current pedagogical standards and high academic quality
• Communicate clear student learning outcomes and utilize assessment data to improve instruction
• Participate in professional development to maintain instructional excellence in the field

Requirements

• Master's degree in economics OR a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in economics
• College-level teaching experience in Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence
• Strong oral and written communication skills
