About the role
Responsibilities
- Chair dissertations and ministry projects for the Doctor of Ministry program across various concentrations
- Supervise candidate research and provide continuous guidance throughout the doctoral process
- Review candidate manuscripts within a two-week timeframe and provide constructive, practical feedback
- Ensure all candidates adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the dissertation handbook
- Maintain timely communication by responding to student inquiries within 48 hours on weekdays
Requirements
- Regionally accredited D.Min or Ph.D. in a ministry-related field
- Completion of a traditional dissertation or ministry project
- Minimum of 5 years of graduate-level teaching experience at an accredited institution
- Prior experience serving as a dissertation chair or committee member
- Demonstrated expertise in qualitative or quantitative research methods
- Proficiency with online instructional technology
- Ability to subscribe to the University's statement of Christian faith and mission
