Adjunct Faculty - Doctor of Ministry Dissertation/Ministry Project Chair

Responsibilities

• Chair dissertations and ministry projects for the Doctor of Ministry program across various concentrations
• Supervise candidate research and provide continuous guidance throughout the doctoral process
• Review candidate manuscripts within a two-week timeframe and provide constructive, practical feedback
• Ensure all candidates adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the dissertation handbook
• Maintain timely communication by responding to student inquiries within 48 hours on weekdays

Requirements

• Regionally accredited D.Min or Ph.D. in a ministry-related field
• Completion of a traditional dissertation or ministry project
• Minimum of 5 years of graduate-level teaching experience at an accredited institution
• Prior experience serving as a dissertation chair or committee member
• Demonstrated expertise in qualitative or quantitative research methods
• Proficiency with online instructional technology
• Ability to subscribe to the University's statement of Christian faith and mission
