Adjunct Faculty - Dept. of Arts & Humanities (CLA)

Responsibilities

• Deliver relevant course material to undergraduate students in assigned disciplines
• Assess student performance and submit grades in a timely manner
• Provide guidance and assistance to students both in and out of the classroom
• Develop one additional course relevant to your specific area of expertise
• Represent the University and the Department professionally to all stakeholders
• Strengthen current faculty expertise with practicing knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Master's Degree in the teaching discipline or at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage students and promote a dynamic, inclusive learning environment
• Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience at the university level
• Professional or academic experience related to Spanish language, literature, or culture
