Adjunct Faculty, Dance

Responsibilities

• Teach core courses in the ballet and/or contemporary dance curriculum
• Develop course syllabi that align with the department’s mission and values
• Engage students across a range of experience levels, including BFA, BA, and BS in Dance Education candidates
• Foster a dynamic, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body
• Support the program's mission to build technical proficiency and cultural understanding of dance

Requirements

• MFA or BFA in Dance, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to teach advanced curriculum to students with varying levels of experience
• Commitment to creating an inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience in higher education
