Adjunct Faculty – Dance Choreography

Responsibilities

• Choreograph for the Student and Alumni Fall Dance Show and/or the Rider Dances 2027 Concert
• Maintain a Canvas page and create a syllabus for the course
• Align rehearsal processes with departmental goals
• Collaborate closely with the show Director for the Rider Dances 2027 concert

Requirements

• BA or BFA in dance, choreography, a related degree field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience choreographing dances at the regional or national level
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks

Preferred Qualifications

• MA or MFA in dance or a related field
• National or international profile as a choreographer or performer
• Experience teaching in a university setting
