Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of criminal justice courses in both on-campus and online formats
• Meaningfully integrate Christian faith into the teaching of the discipline
• Provide mentorship and academic guidance to undergraduate students
• Maintain a record of academic scholarship and professional excellence
• Utilize online instructional technology and Microsoft Office for course delivery

Requirements

• PhD in Criminal Justice, Juris Doctorate, or a combination of both
• Or a Master's degree with 5+ years of specialized professional experience in criminal justice
• Ability to subscribe to the University's statement of Christian faith and mission
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and Microsoft Office
• Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience in criminal justice or law practice
• Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate level

Benefits

• Compensation of $100 per credit hour/student, up to $3,000 per course
• Note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for standard benefits
