Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of criminal justice courses in both on-campus and online formats
- Meaningfully integrate Christian faith into the teaching of the discipline
- Provide mentorship and academic guidance to undergraduate students
- Maintain a record of academic scholarship and professional excellence
- Utilize online instructional technology and Microsoft Office for course delivery
Requirements
- PhD in Criminal Justice, Juris Doctorate, or a combination of both
- Or a Master's degree with 5+ years of specialized professional experience in criminal justice
- Ability to subscribe to the University's statement of Christian faith and mission
- Proficiency with online learning platforms and Microsoft Office
- Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in criminal justice or law practice
- Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate level
Benefits
- Compensation of $100 per credit hour/student, up to $3,000 per course
- Note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for standard benefits
