Adjunct Faculty - Computer Science

Responsibilities

• Teach lectures and laboratories for both majors and non-majors in computer science courses
• Deliver course content using lectures, demonstrations, class discussions, and other effective educational modes
• Prepare course outlines, syllabi, and lesson plans
• Select appropriate textbooks and teaching aids necessary for instruction
• Supervise and maintain computer laboratories and equipment

Requirements

• Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Ability to integrate technology into content delivery and assessment techniques
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students
• Knowledge of, and commitment to, the university’s philosophy, mission, and core values

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior college or university teaching experience
