About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach lectures and laboratories for both computer science majors and non-majors
- Deliver course content using lectures, demonstrations, and class discussions to promote learning
- Prepare course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, and select appropriate textbooks and teaching aids
- Supervise and maintain computer laboratories and equipment
- Integrate technology into content delivery and assessment techniques
Requirements
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population of students
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, the university’s philosophy, mission, and core values
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior college or university teaching experience
