About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate major courses and lower division, non-major courses
- Grade student work and respond to student questions via email
- Hold regularly scheduled office hours
- Communicate regularly with the course coordinator
- Manage course progress and student outreach
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging, dynamic, and personalized classroom experiences
- Residency in Minnesota or Wisconsin is required
- High level of intercultural competency and commitment to inclusive practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Terminal degree (PhD, MFA)
- Significant professional experience in marketing communications, public relations, advertising, social media, media relations, crisis communication, organizational communication, new media theory, or journalism
