About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach an undergraduate course on Accelerated College Algebra within a Christian perspective
- Plan lessons and assignments, provide effective instruction, and grade student work
- Respond to student inquiries and submit final grades in a timely manner
- Support student retention by identifying struggling students and offering academic support and encouragement
Requirements
- M.S. or higher in mathematics (or a related field), or completion of at least 9 hours of graduate mathematics courses from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated experience teaching algebra at the college or high school level
- Strong alignment with the mission and values of Covenant College
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in a faith-based higher education environment
