Adjunct Faculty - Business

Responsibilities

• Teach lectures for both day and evening business courses for majors and non-majors
• Deliver course content through lectures, demonstrations, class discussions, and other appropriate educational modes
• Prepare course outlines, syllabi, and lesson plans in accordance with university guidelines
• Select appropriate textbooks and teaching aids necessary for instruction
• Evaluate student performance and progress

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Management Information Systems, Organizational Development, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Ability to integrate technology into course delivery
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population of students
• Knowledge of, and commitment to, the university’s philosophy, mission, and core values

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior college or university teaching experience
