Adjunct Faculty - Animation and Motion Design

Responsibilities

• Provide undergraduate-level instruction in animation and digital media disciplines
• Mentor the next generation of Christian storytellers through professional expertise
• Deliver course content on-campus in Virginia Beach
• Integrate Christ-centered teaching and learning into the curriculum
• Utilize online instructional technology for educational purposes

Requirements

• Professional experience in animation or digital media (e.g., 2D/3D animation, VFX, motion design, or storyboarding)
• Dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning
• Ability to teach undergraduate-level courses
• Facility with online instructional technology
• Willingness to subscribe to a Christian statement of faith and embrace the University mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in feature animation, television, commercial production, or game cinematics
• A record of or potential for academic scholarship
• Expertise in specialized areas such as digital modeling, lighting, rendering, or pipeline development
