Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi
- Develop and utilize various instructional strategies and delivery methods to meet diverse learning styles
- Foster a safe and civil learning environment for all students
- Inform students regarding course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education OR a Master’s degree in any field plus 12 GSH in Early Childhood Development
- 3 years of related work experience with children ages birth through 8 years
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements, including DCI check, Child Abuse Registry check, and medical exam
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals from varied backgrounds
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience specifically in Early Childhood Education
