Adjunct - Digital Media and Design

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction to undergraduate and graduate students through lectures, labs, or performance courses
• Assess and develop students' cognitive abilities, communication skills, and higher-order thinking through appropriate assignments
• Plan and organize instruction according to approved course outlines and student learning outcomes
• Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback on assignments, projects, and examinations
• Advise students regarding programs of study, lifelong learning resources, and effective study skills
• Maintain accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, academic progress, and student learning outcomes
• Select and evaluate instructional materials such as textbooks, software, and digital tools

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience and recognition
• Deep knowledge of current theory and practice in UI/UX Design
• Demonstrated ability to apply effective teaching principles across various learning styles
• Ability to integrate emerging instructional technologies into the learning process
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student body, including students from underrepresented groups and students with disabilities
