Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Surgical Tech

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction for Surgical Technology students
• Develop course outlines and clinical experiences to implement curriculum design
• Evaluate student performance in lecture, laboratory, and clinical settings
• Provide academic advising, track degree transcripts, and monitor student progress and retention
• Review and analyze program data, student learning outcomes, and retention rates
• Manage administrative tasks including submitting syllabi, posting grades, and reporting learning outcomes

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Surgical Technology
• National Board of Surgical Technology/Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) or Surgical Technology Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Surgical Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology
• National Board of Surgical Technology Certification
