Adjunct Clinical Faculty - Medical-Surgical Nursing

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning and clinical experiences in assigned nursing settings
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate students during clinical rotations
• Grade associated clinical assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Evaluate student performance based on established course and clinical objectives
• Collaborate with full-time faculty to ensure consistency in course outcomes and clinical expectations

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Mississippi
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in medical-surgical or general nursing practice
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to satisfy a criminal history background check
• Ability to meet and provide documentation of all health and compliance requirements as designated by the clinical facility
