Adjunct Clinical Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision of nursing students in clinical settings
• Conduct pre and post-clinical conferences
• Evaluate students by preparing anecdotal notes and written evaluations
• Conduct formal evaluation sessions with students
• Represent the biblical worldview, mission, vision, and core values of HLGU
• Attend scheduled nursing faculty meetings
• Follow all institutional and instructional policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current, unencumbered Missouri RN licensure
• Illinois RN licensure (if necessary for clinical site)
• Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous chemicals

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of clinical nursing experience
• Professing Christian with values consistent with Baptist Tradition
