Adjunct Associate Faculty, Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIOT)

Responsibilities

• Attend all class sessions, assist with instruction, lead breakout sessions, and facilitate discussions
• Evaluate and grade student work and assessments as requested by the course Lecturer
• Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in IoT, embedded systems, edge computing, cloud IoT platforms, or data analytics/ML
• Proficiency with Python and Jupyter, pandas, and matplotlib
• Strong knowledge of AI fundamentals and machine learning applications
• Strong communication and student mentorship skills

Preferred Qualifications

• University teaching or TA experience in graduate or professional programs
• Experience in project-based or lab-based courses
• Proficiency with MicroPython for device programming
• Practical skills with Thonny, UIFlow2, or VS Code
• Hands-on familiarity with ESP32-class microcontrollers and MQTT patterns
• Working knowledge of AWS IoT Core and basic AWS analytics services
