About the role
Responsibilities
- Attend all class sessions, assist with instruction, lead breakout sessions, and facilitate discussions
- Evaluate and grade student work and assessments as requested by the course Lecturer
- Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in SOC, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, or Security Engineering
- Proficiency in Python for data parsing, ETL, and log analysis
- Comfort with shell scripting (PowerShell and/or Bash)
- Strong communication and feedback skills
Preferred Qualifications
- University teaching or TA experience in graduate programs
- Experience with cloud security tools (CloudTrail, Defender for Cloud)
- Familiarity with SOAR concepts and alert triage
- Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST CSF, HIPAA, or GDPR
- Experience with Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
