Adjunct Assistant Professor - International Relations & Diplomacy

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in International Relations and Diplomacy
• Connect theoretical frameworks to practical applications in global affairs
• Instruct students in subject areas such as international relations theory, global security, diplomacy, international organizations, foreign policy, human rights, and global public health
• Facilitate effective learning through engaging course delivery

Requirements

• Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Diplomacy, Public Policy, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated professional or academic expertise in international affairs
• Ability to teach effectively at the college level
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in a related field
• Professional experience in government, international organizations, diplomacy, public administration, or non-profit leadership
• Experience with experiential learning, policy simulations, or diplomatic negotiation exercises
• Prior college-level teaching experience
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and equitable teaching practices
