About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and simulation instruction in general/restorative dentistry
  • Instruct students in fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics
  • Serve within the Department of Clinical Comprehensive Care or the Department of Restorative and Clinical Sciences
  • Support a patient-centered, comprehensive care clinical learning environment year-round (summer, fall, and spring semesters)

Requirements

  • D.D.S./D.M.D. degree or international equivalent
  • Successful completion of NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE
  • Completion of a regional licensure examination (e.g., ADEX)
  • Active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full) by the position start date
  • Broad clinical experience in general/restorative dentistry
  • Clinical experience or additional training in fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics
