Additives Technology Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, technical assessment, and execution of local chemistry and technology development to support growth in the Asia Pacific region.
• Collaborate with global and local cross-functional teams to manage components and support holistic global strategies.
• Uncover future hardware and industry changes related to transportation and alternative energy applications to identify technology development opportunities.
• Analyze technology gaps, propose technical approaches, and establish necessary knowledge and capabilities to win in targeted market areas.
• Advocate for Lubrizol technology positions at OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, major customers, and industry meetings.
• Develop and communicate Lubrizol’s sustainability technical position within the APAC region.
• Run local Management of Change (MOC) programs and conduct competitive landscape analysis for components.

Requirements

• Minimum Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field (PhD preferred).
• Proven fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with chemical formulation.
• Understanding of transportation hardware and relevant analytical tools.
• Ability to travel as needed.

• Previous experience in the transportation-related chemical industry.
• Proven experience managing complex projects with solid delivery.
• Strong ability to build and sustain relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to act as an influencer and a quick learner in a technical environment.
