About the role
Responsibilities
- Take extreme ownership for shop floor operation of additive machines
- Operate high value equipment and computer-controlled tools
- Manage mechanical systems including gas and fluid plumbing
- Perform manual support removal, part de-powdering, and EDM operation
- Maintain shop floor cleanliness and organization using 5S activities
- Maintain equipment and supporting manufacturing tools
- Input and output digital work orders and provide feedback to engineering
Requirements
- 3+ years of total job experience in a relatable field
- 1+ years of experience as a metal additive manufacturing technician preferred
- Experience in construction trades, CNC machining, aerospace assembly, or automotive mechanics
- Knowledge of general fabrication methods like CNC milling, turning, EDM, welding, and bending
- Ability to work flexible hours including second shift and weekends
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to work on-site in Kent, WA
