Additive Manufacturing Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for 3D-printed spacecraft components
• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and specifications
• Serve as product owner, aligning engineering, manufacturing, and business teams
• Identify and prioritize adjacent product opportunities
• Establish key performance metrics including mass efficiency, pressure capability, and reliability
• Develop and maintain the product business case, including unit economics and pricing strategy
• Execute go-to-market strategy and support sales capture efforts
• Align cross-functional teams around milestones and track progress against technical goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace
• Strong analytical skills including cost modeling and trade studies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent technical communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or protected person status required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additive manufacturing (metal AM strongly preferred)
• Background in spacecraft or launch vehicle development
• Familiarity with qualification and certification of aerospace hardware
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced development environment
• MBA or equivalent business experience
• Exposure to spacecraft propulsion systems
