Additive Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and fulfill orders coming through the Prototype Work Center
• Convert CAD models to print files and ensure proper machine and process setup
• Execute 3D prints using multiple 3D printing platforms
• Conduct material, part, and machine changeovers
• Perform part post-processing and dimensional measurements to verify accuracy
• Utilize work instructions and engineering documentation to carry out standard work
• Document and store process information and data
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine and system issues
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe printing lab environment
• Communicate effectively with requesters from Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a technical manufacturing environment
• 2-year Technical Degree or Certificate
• Ability to setup and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment
• Experience using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to make small design modifications
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize a varied and fast-changing workload

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience specifically in an Additive Manufacturing setting
