Additional Assistant

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the local kindergarten team to support the access and participation of all children within an inclusive environment
• Support children with disabilities and high support needs within the kindergarten setting
• Maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families, colleagues, and other service providers
• Communicate observations regarding children's activities and program running verbally or in writing
• Ensure open and effective communication with all direct and extended team members

Requirements

• Satisfactory Working with Children's (WWC) Check - Employee
• Cleared NDIS Screening Check within the last five years
• Valid Australian Working Rights
• International Police Check (if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one year within the last ten years)
• Experience working with children within an educational setting is highly desirable
