ADAS - Staff Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for Level 2 Automated Driving Comfort Features, such as ACC and Lane features
• Define system requirements based on stakeholder needs and derive detailed software requirements
• Collaborate with product owners and team members to define functional concepts for Automated Driving Functions
• Drive continuous development by defining and measuring feature KPIs and performing holistic testing
• Evaluate effect chains and their impact on overall feature performance
• Define test specifications at both the product and software levels
• Develop high-quality feature software using C++
• Analyze log files and bug reports to ensure system stability
• Work within an agile team following the SCRUM framework

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
• 12+ years of experience in feature development within the ADAS/AD domain
• 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
• Proven expertise in C++ software development and Object-Oriented Design patterns
• Strong knowledge of development tools including git, Jenkins, and Gerrit
• Fluency in English
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in perception, HD maps, or localization
• Knowledge of automotive safety standards such as ISO26262 and SOTIF
• Experience with service-oriented communication (e.g., SOME/IP)
• Familiarity with coding standards like MISRA for C++
• Experience working with agile methodologies in cross-functional teams
