About the role
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end responsibility for Level 2 Automated Driving Comfort Features, such as ACC and Lane features
- Define system requirements based on stakeholder needs and derive detailed software requirements
- Collaborate with product owners and team members to define functional concepts for Automated Driving Functions
- Drive continuous development by defining and measuring feature KPIs and performing holistic testing
- Evaluate effect chains and their impact on overall feature performance
- Define test specifications at both the product and software levels
- Develop high-quality feature software using C++
- Analyze log files and bug reports to ensure system stability
- Work within an agile team following the SCRUM framework
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in feature development within the ADAS/AD domain
- 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
- Proven expertise in C++ software development and Object-Oriented Design patterns
- Strong knowledge of development tools including git, Jenkins, and Gerrit
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in perception, HD maps, or localization
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards such as ISO26262 and SOTIF
- Experience with service-oriented communication (e.g., SOME/IP)
- Familiarity with coding standards like MISRA for C++
- Experience working with agile methodologies in cross-functional teams
