ADAS HIL Simulation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulation test benches for intelligent driving functions.
• Lead HIL test bench upgrades, including hardware and software adaptation for new features.
• Develop and upgrade automated testing frameworks for simulation environments.
• Develop simulation models and implement corresponding simulation signal communication interfaces.
• Analyze and resolve test bench issues in collaboration with project teams and test execution teams.
• Formulate optimization strategies to meet future testing requirements for complex driving functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive Electronics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ADAS/ECU software testing automation and HIL simulation bench operation.
• Proficiency in automotive communication protocols including CAN/CANFD, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Strong programming skills in Python and CAPL for developing automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Deep understanding of ADAS functions such as ACC, AEB, and LSS, including sensor implementation and vehicle modeling.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting software modules and managing technical risks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the pytest framework.
• Proficiency with Vector toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with CarMaker simulation software.
