ADAS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor the development of ECUs and electronic sensors, including installation requirements and technical specifications for ADAS software
• Define installation requirements and technical specifications for electronic control unit development
• Ensure the interfaces of ADAS ECUs and sensors within the vehicle context
• Guarantee technical, legislative, and normative requirements are met while respecting cost, weight, time, and quality objectives
• Develop technical documentation for ADAS system ECUs
• Manage technical definitions with suppliers and troubleshoot component issues during functional testing phases

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Automation Engineering, or related field
• Availability to work in the São Bernardo do Campo - SP region
• Fluency in English
• Native or fluent Portuguese
• Strong interest in vehicle development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry with electronic components
• Knowledge of CAN bus networks
• Experience with ADAS product development
• Participation in vehicle development groups such as Formula SAE or Baja
• Proficiency in Spanish
