AD/ADAS Market Function Owner - Beta

Responsibilities

• Lead AD/ADAS testing programs and beta evaluation to drive market improvements for passenger vehicles in the USA and Canada.
• Manage US ADAS Beta programs, including timelines, software deployment via OTA updates, and customer enrollment.
• Conduct systematic testing and evaluation of AD/ADAS system performance under US-market conditions.
• Perform first-level root cause analysis on system faults and track issues through to resolution.
• Provide technical input for US and Canadian market adaptations, including regulatory reviews and certification support.
• Perform competitive benchmarking of competitor AD/ADAS systems to provide actionable improvement recommendations.
• Define component and system performance requirements based on local road conditions and driver behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical, etc.).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in the automotive industry.
• Deep knowledge of AD/ADAS and sensor technologies.
• Understanding of vehicle development processes and networking architectures (CAN, Flexray).
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as CANoe and DTS Monaco.
• Understanding of automotive functional safety standards including ISO 26262, SOTIF, and UL4600.
• Valid US Driver’s license and the ability to pass driver certification for vehicle dynamics.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for domestic and international business trips and test drives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• German language skills (written and spoken) to communicate with international counterparts.
