Acute Nursing or Critical Care Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional patient experience and high standards of nursing care
• Provide empathetic support to patients, families, and medical staff
• Work flexibly across different specialties and clinical settings within the Central Resource Unit
• Utilize a mobile app to manage and pick up shifts across various Epworth locations
• Maintain contemporary knowledge of best practices in medical and surgical nursing care

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Critical Care Post Graduate qualification (required for pure CCRN roles)
• Valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Australian working rights (Permanent residency or citizenship)
• Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Perioperative Post Graduate certificate (desirable for Operating Room staff)
• Recency of practice across both Medical and Surgical nursing
