Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent acute inpatient dialysis care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-, during, and post-treatment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to prescribed intradialytic transfusions.
• Collaborate with physicians, primary nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding basic learning needs and treatment processes.
• Assist with emergency response measures and initiate appropriate notifications during adverse reactions.
• Cover various hospitals in the Fox Valley area (Neenah, Appleton) and potentially float to Green Bay.
• Participate in rotating day shifts, every other weekend, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• 6 months of experience in acute dialysis.
• Previous experience in Hemodialysis or ICU settings.
