Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-, during-, and post-treatment
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to prescribed intradialytic transfusions
• Collaborate with physicians, primary nurses, and the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans
• Provide initial and ongoing education to patients and their families regarding learning needs
• Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for all modality-specific treatment procedures
• Initiate and assist with emergency response measures
• Coordinate communication with dialysis providers and contracted facility personnel to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification
• Minimum 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
• 6 months of experience in acute dialysis
• Experience in Hemodialysis or ICU settings
