Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for acute inpatient dialysis patients.
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-, during, and post-treatment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to prescribed intradialytic transfusions.
• Collaborate with physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding basic learning needs and treatment processes.
• Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for assigned patients as prescribed for all modality-specific procedures.
• Assist with emergency response measures and participate in staff training and orientation.
• Complete Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) requirements to advance within the organization.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• 6 months of experience in acute dialysis.
• Experience in Hemodialysis and/or ICU settings.
