Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for acute inpatient dialysis patients.
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-, during, and post-treatment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to prescribed intradialytic transfusions.
• Collaborate with physicians, primary nurses, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding basic learning needs and treatment processes.
• Act as a resource, leader, and mentor for new and incumbent employees.
• Assist with emergency response measures and maintain detailed medical documentation.

Requirements

• Current state nursing licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as an RN within the last 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in acute dialysis settings.
