Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent dialysis care, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation.
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-, during, and post-treatment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses to intradialytic transfusions.
• Collaborate with physicians, primary nurses, and the kidney disease health care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding basic learning needs and treatment processes.
• Initiate and assist with emergency response measures as required.
• Document all patient data, interventions, and medical justifications accurately in the patient medical record.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of acute dialysis experience.
• Experience in Hemodialysis or ICU settings.
• 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
