Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent dialysis care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-, during, and post-treatment
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to prescribed intradialytic transfusions
• Collaborate with physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and their families regarding basic learning needs and treatment processes
• Assist with emergency response measures and initiate appropriate medical notifications
• Document all patient data, treatment modifications, and medical justifications in the patient medical record

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification
• Minimum 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
• 6 months of experience in acute dialysis
• Experience in hemodialysis or ICU settings
